Filmmakers, Roy Kirkland and Doug Sebastian, owners of RKDS Entertainment and Media, LLC, have written, directed, and produced several movies. Owning a studio in Valdosta, Georgia filmmaking started for the duo in 2006. In 2018, the RKDS Film Festival was created, an annual event to highlight the film industry in South Georgia. Legendary actor, Burt Reynolds, was the first star honored at RKDS Fest.  After a 5 year run, creating more films became top priority.  Shortly after, REKINDLING, was filmed. Then Passion Of Fear. Followed by A Cause for Alarm and then Suddenly! Films completion are scheduled for 2025. RKDS also has plans to create another 3 - 5 feature films for 2026.
